Transarts is a non-profit incorporated association founded by Tracy Callaghan (community development) and Eriko Kinoshita (art therapist), both of whom have been working in the community sector for several years in Sydney, Australia.

The combination of community development and art therapy methods brings together a culturally mindful, uplifting & empowering experience for participants.

We believe that, in today’s world, an holistic approach to well-being is most beneficial for feeling confident and fulfilled in our lives. Use of our creativity, whatever relationship we have with it - hidden, unexplored, repressed etc - can transform us into an active creator of our own increased sense of well-being in our body, soul, mind and emotions.

The purpose of Transarts is to promote individual and community well-being through creative/expressive practices, including drawing, collage, music, dance and art projects, to name a few.

Transarts teams up with local artists, community representatives, and community workers to deliver group experiences that are as colourful, engaging and uplifting as possible.
